Äntligen! eller……

Sedan länge har jag haft mer eller mindre ont i vänster fot och en bit upp i benet. Det kallas för neuropatisk smärta. Att beskriva den är svårt. Ungefär som att ha en linda av gummi kring foten och upp mot vaden som dras åt hårdare och hårdare. Samtidigt är det ström i den. Ibland vara så att det pirrar men oftare så att man funderar på att amputera foten för att få stopp på det. Kan kännas tungt att veta (tro) att det här är något jag bara måst acceptera.

Jag fick en medicin av min läkare som jag skulle ta tre gånger per dag. Sen höjdes dosen till två tabletter tre gånger dagligen. Ibland tyckte jag att det hjälpte lite ibland att det inte hjälpte alls.

Sen är det ju det här med att få kontakt med vården, allrahelst som min läkare har gått i pension och jag inte vet vem jag ska vända mig till. Ringde upp mottagningen och de lovade att någon skulle höra av sig till mig, Veckorna gick och ingen ringde, så jag ringde mottagningen igen. Därefter gick det någon vecka tills en läkare äntligen ringde. Tyvärr förstod vi inte varandra språkmässigt. Jag TROR att hon tyckte att jag skulle öka dosen med en halv tablett och att hon skulle ringa mig igen om en vecka. Där la jag liksom ner. Om en vecka skulle det vara julafton och knappast så att hon tänkte ringa då. På apoteket fick jag veta att man inte ska dela den har typen av tabletter och att jag tyvärr inte hade något recept på tabletter med halva dosen.

Jaha, det är bara att bryta ihop och komma igen. Jag tog kontakt med mottagningen igen. Min livsfilosofi är att inte ha några som hest åsikter om människors språkkunskaper så det tog emot att be om att få en svensktalande läkare näst gång. Fy och skäms på mig.

Några dagar senare ringde en högst svensktalande läkare upp. Nu blev det plötsligt diskussioner kring att testa ett annat läkemedel. Så nu har jag börjat med den och ligger ännu på en låg dos. Jag vet att den kan höjas om jag upplever att den ger någon som helst lindring. Och har vet att det finna ytterligare en medicin att test. Så, äntligen finns hoppet om att det nog finns lite lindring att få.

Vad har jag då lärt mig av detta? Jo, att inte vara så envis. Att inte bestämma mig för att det inte finns någon hjälp att få. Och att det faktiskt kanske finns en möjlig att slippa leva med den här smärtan i resten av mitt liv. Och det, mina vänner, känns görgött.
