Ibland är livet bra krångligt

Om Coronaviruset inte tar död på mig, så kommer Uppsala kommun att göra det. Det finns ingen som kan driva mig till vansinne så som dom.

Mamma ligger sjuk på ett äldreboende i Linköping. Hennes tillstånd har försämrats och man kan inte längre kontakta henne per telefon. Än mindre kan man besöka henne. Jag inser att vi snart kommer att vara i det läget att vi får komma till henne den allra sista tiden hon har kvar.

En dag kommer något av mina syskon att ringa och säga att det är dags att komma till henne nu. Alltför väl minns jag den stress jag kände när mamma ringde för att berätta att pappa var i det läget. Hur jag tog bilen och körde de 25 milen mellan Uppsala och Linköping och försökte skicka tanken till pappa att han skulle vänta på mig.

Eftersom det mesta i mitt liv numera måste planeras ringde jag till kommunen för att höra mig för om riksfärdtjänst (kan alltså inte köra själv längre).

Jo, det måste man ansöka om först. Det tar ungefär 2 veckor att få den bedömd. När den beviljats måste man beställa själva resan en vecka i förväg. Och så måste de naturligtvis ha ett läkarintyg.

Men vänta nu. På kommunen finns ett gäng läkarutlåtanden som jag skickat in. När jag fick färdtjänst, när jag fick arbetsresor, när jag fick dörröppnare till porten och när jag fick min elscooter. En stor andel av befolkningen känner till att man inte ofta tillfrisknar i min sjukdom, men på kommunen behöver man tydligen bevisa sina tillkortakommanden igen och igen och igen. Bara tala om hur man får tag på en läkare i dessa dagar.

Om man har ett funktionshinder blir små saker stora eftersom det blir så tillkrånglat och kräver energi. Man måste fundera ut varje litet scenario och hitta lösningar. Nu ska jag alltså skriva ut den där blanketten som inte kan skickas digitalt, sen ska jag trolla fram ett läkarutlåtande. Sen ska jag ta mig till affären och köpa kuvert och frimärke. Sen är det bara att vänta på beviljande/avslag innan jag kan ringa mamma. Om jag ska göra det ännu mer krångligt måste jag fundera på hur jag ska ta mig mellan mammas boende och det ställe(?) jag kan bo på. Ska jag ta med rullstolen och hur kan den i så fall fraktas mellan de två ställena? Etc etc etc. Det bästa i livet är mina syskon, som kommer att lösa allt när jag väl är på plats, men innan dess har jag ju lite att pyssla med.

Så är det med det, som det är med det som är, så är det.
