Ibland dyker det bara upp en person som visar sig vara en fantastisk människa. Bara för att hon/han kan. Jag tänker på Lena som arbetar på samma företag som jag. Inte på samma enhet men där någonstans bland alla människorna finns hon. För ett par år sedan hamnade vi vid samma bord på Katalin där vi skulle se ett uppträdande. Hade en trevlig kväll och it was it. Därefter ha vi växlat några ord när vi träffas någonstans i korridorerna. När sedan Michael hamnade på sjukhuset för att göra en hjärtoperation sökte hon upp mig en dag. Bara för att fråga om jag behövde någon hjälp när jag nu var själv hemma. Behövde jag handla? Någonstans jag behövde ha skjuts? Hon gav mig sitt mobilnummer och hemtelefonnummer och bad mig ringa om något dök upp. Jag blev alldeles varm i hjärtat. 

Med åren har jag träffat på så många hjälpsamma, goa människor som erbjudit mig hjälp i alla möjliga situationer. Både när jag behövt det och när jag inte behövt det.  Men nu är de avslöjade. Det är nämligen inte bara så att folk vill vara snälla mot mig. De vill vara snälla för att de själva mår bra av det. Eller om det nu är så att man använder mitt hjälpbehov för att växa själv. Vad vet jag?

Visst är det väl så att när man hjälper någon annan så mår man gott själv. Man känner sig helt enkelt som en bättre människa. Man ställer upp på andra. Man är inte en sådan som bara tänker på sig själv. Man är en god människa. Man har de rätta värderingarna.  Man gör sina samhälleliga plikter. 

Mina två vänner Siw och Mia har tagit det här med vänskap till en annan nivå.  De gör inte saker för min skull, utan för vår skull. Alltså, de tar mig med på grejor som vi gör tillsammans. Det är allt från saltgrottor till att lösa mord. Jo, det är sant. 

Jag skulle fylla år och de meddelade mig att jag skulle vara tillgänglig en viss kväll framöver. De hämtade upp mig och körde till Scandic Nord. Där inträffade ett mystiskt dödsfall som vi självklart hjälpte till att lösa. Man hjälper väl till, eller hur?
